Pictures above are first attempts to making the ideas in my head reality. Quality and materials are great, yet there's always room for improvement. All are made only from recycled materials. I'd like to hear which items are favorite so I know what to start making better first. Please leave your comments and thoughts/requests in the contact section.
A short description on each of the items:
The third eye dreamcatcher wall piece was inspired from a way smaller dream catcher we got from a dear friend. The ring I made out of wood from our garden. And yarn used to weave all the pretty rainbow colors together. I will be making more of these one of a kind pieces in the near future to sell on the store page so stay tuned.
I started making the tea light tin candle holders when we were preparing for our wedding. We tried to keep the budget as low as possible so I picked up a whole box full of tins from the recycle dump and drilled a bunch of little holes in the cans for a starry like effect in dark. Then I had them weathered for weeks enduring the combination of the sun and water. The beautiful rustiness started taking beautiful forms and shades after about 3 weeks.
Are we the only ones who always have so much mail laying around on a pile somewhere? Opened or unopened I decided it was an eye sore I didn't want to have anymore. So I came up with a mail slot box. With recycled wood, hammer, nails & patience I made this 5 slot piece. It's to keep the overload on mail we get nowadays separate. Think of using the slots for such as bills | unopened | magazines | and miscellaneous.
